Hancheng mining area has a great number of coal seams and abundant reserves. Selecting 8 typically representative wells of each block in Guizhou to validate the reliability of the model, the results show that the relative order of comprehensive evaluation results is in good agreement with the gas well productivity. At the same time we established acomprehensive evaluation model of the high-yield dessert area. Based on the production data, the analysis of all kinds of tests and the fracturing construction data, we start from the gas reservoir analysis and productivity prediction, surrounding the three aspects of the enrichment condition, reservoir flow conductivity and formation energy, deeply analyzed the impacting mechanism of the related factors and the influence degree to the capacity, and proposed the comprehensive evaluation index system which will influence the CBM enrichment and high yield to a great extent.

So how to optimize high yield dessert area from these resource enrichment regions is the key to restrict CBM industry development of Guizhou Province. The previous evaluation method was more focused on the resources enrichment conditions, whichhad de-emphasized the technical application of reservoir reconstruction and drainage gas recovery and it resulted in the selection failure. The comprehensive evaluation method of high yield dessert area is of great importance to the regional exploration and develop mentand the increase of CBM capacity. This outcome creates new heights of single-well daily output and stable gas production of coalbed methane vertical well in southwest area, and achieves a major breakthrough of regional coalbed methane exploration. The resource superiority of multi-layer commingled production is fully exerted the favorable gas production effect of 4 656m³/d in maximum daily output and 3 600m³/d in steady daily output was acquired. During the drainage process, the casing pressure appeared early and the pressure drawdown distribution expanded rapidly, interlayer interference did not show in this process. According to the combination principle of quality and similarity in production layer, we selected 5#, 7# and 13# coal seams of Well Yangmeican 1 to conduct separate pressure production test. Combined with the key parameters of coalbed methane enrichment and exploitation, 5#, 7#, 13#, 15# and 23# are regarded as favorable intervals of coalbed methane exploration and development in this area. The results show that thin and medium-thickness coal seam groups in Longtan Formation of Upper Permian are developed in this area, the recoverable coal seams are dominated by primary structure and possess large accumulation thickness the gas content, gas saturation and relative reservoir ratio are high enough, the average permeability is 0.229×10⁻³μm², the condition of coalbed methane accumulation and development is favorable. Simultaneously, the separate pressure production test was performed in the three favorable intervals of Well Yangmeican 1, and finally the productive gas production effect was achieved.

Based on the drilling data and coal petrographic test data of three coalbed methane parameter wells, we analyzed the coalbed methane geological characteristic, re-estimated the coalbed methane geological resource and optimized five favorable target intervals of Yangmeishu syncline in Liupanshui area.
